Is a SUTEKHer from the time of 2006. The first year of the reign of Percy. Jonan joined as he was a deprived Geek in Wollongong and when he came to Sydney University was extremely happy to find a place where he could gorge on geek goodness.
Jonan is the Sutekh President for 2009.
Jonan and his Committee have grand designs for SUTEKH. Luckily, because the club has been fairly awesome for the last couple of years they have good things to work with. Expect more roleplaying events, some more excellent joint events and more events in the bar.
Fun Facts: His name is derived from his fierce Barbarian rage and virility. As well as from his slave name: Joe. Clearly is too loud to be a Ninja, but too full of rage to be a Pirate. Then he smartened up and got a real job and is now President
Generally very approachable and organised. Always up for a chat unless he has his deep thinking face on. Then you shot not disturb him. Unless you really need to. Or you think it would be fun.
Habitat
The first official "Man day" was held at Jonan's cave in Annandale. No further were held because he then moved into the city (i.e. Chippendale) and a nice furnished house which is falling apart.The house into which he moved, in the fine tradition of SUTEKH houses has been named, and is dubbed Bernanke Haus (Occasionally the SUTEKH reserve) because three SUTEKH treasurers live there both past and present.
Study
Does Arts! Is now majoring in Film Studies and Philosophy and is in his fourth year of a three year arts degree. By the end of his degree he hopes to be unemployable so that he will one day end up being a director. Of big movies. Don't ask for logic. That's how it works, seriously.
Work
Apart from working hard to run your events. Jonan has had several jobs. Sometimes concurrently.
Jonan has: - Worked in a Warehouse moving heavy boxes around - Worked for a cleaning business in the Inner West (It was terrible)I
Jonan now works for the man at a Video store. His job is to stop people from joining if they don't have a utility bill or lease agreement. They pay him well and it makes him happy. Though he doesn't like making people pay late fees. Or at least that is what he says to prevent people from beating him.
Also: Jonan has been working on a script for Raymond E. Feist's novel 'Magician'. Unofficially of course. He wont show it to you but he might talk about it if you ask. Try it. Then write about it on his wiki page.
