Born Hatius Gaius Timotheus, Hat Guy was forced to flee his native country due to an unsuccessful attempted military coup. Upon arriving in SUTEKH he changed his name to suit the local language, and also escape the wrath of his political "rivals". Whilst at University he pretended to study a variety of subjects upon which he pretends to be an authority.
In 2009, Hat Guy is in charge of the Fourth Estate.
Hat Guy was in Nerds FC, making him more famous than you (unless you actually are Hat Guy), and is evidence of his attempt to seize cultural and political domination of this new land. Most recently it can be seen that he made a grab for power in his adoptive home of SUTEKH by gaining a position on commitee under the famously corrupt Percy Administration (see Rigging Elections) as General Commitee (Tyrannical Oppression) in 2006. The stage was than set for his next lunge for Dictatorship by seizing the office of Vice President (Functions and Supression of Subversive Elements) in 2007. All other candidates mysteriously disappeared under suspicious cicumstances in the lead up to the election.
He claims to be descended from the crown heads of Europe, but is known to be an inveterate liar. He may or may not be a figment of Sutekh's collective imagination (like Tyler Durden in Fight Club)
He is also known as an inveterate learner and currently has many letters after his name. He probably won't stop collecting such things until he can spell something meaningful. His possible areas of "expertise" include History both Ancient and Medieval and Media. Hat Guy actually possesses a Masters Degree and hence the correct way to address him is "Hey you!" Although if asked for credentials he will tell you he lost them... in a volcano
