Over the course of its thirty-year history, SUTEKH has acquired a number of established experts in the field of religion (See: Chris, Lauren, Big Daddy Matt, Spamy). By their powers combined, they arrived at a startling conclusion which revolutionised the spiritual life of SUTEKH forever.
This theory is known as the SUTEKHian Heresy.
This was the theory that all mythological heroes, deities, demi-gods, demons, celestial beings, and other assorted theormorphs are all actually robots, ninjas, cyborgs, zombies, vampires or pirates.
These beings fall into two classes: undead and superhuman. There are factions within SUTEKH who revere one above the other, and there are unaligned SUTEKHers who express reverence for both.
The current known avatar of the SUTEKHian ideal is Bish, otherwise known as the Juggernaut.
The High Priest of the SUTEKHian heresy is Percy, who also is the Primate of the Church of Joss. The Priesthood conducts and organises all the major rituals celebrating these remarkable beings.
These rituals are otherwise known as:
Moviegoing,
Thursday screenings,
geeky discussions,
and forums.
There are a number of festivals that have been created to celebrate the values and ideals of the SUTEKHian heresy. They fall into two categories:
cons, and
parties.
The major annual holy day of the SUTEKHians is known as Zombie Thursday, for the celebration of the reanimation of Jesus.
