Necronomicon is one of Sydney's regular roleplaying conventions run by Shadowgames in the Easter holidays. It traditionally focuses upon avant garde horror games, but this has changed to be more general since most other conventions folded. It is unknown if this will change back now that several others have started up again. It is often filled with goths.

Necronomicon is run on the Easter long weekend. This is in March or April, and changes from year to year.
Necronomicon used to be run on the October long weekend. In 2004 it swapped dates with Sydcon for the longer weekend.
Necronomicon is run at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in Newtown (of course), Sydney Australia.
