A Freeform is a type of Roleplaying Game.
It Differs from a traditional tabletop in that there are generally a lot more players, frequently ranging from a dozen upwards. To cater to their needs, there are usually additional GMs (one to every five players is usually considered a minimum).
Because of the player logistics, freeforms tend to be harder to manage relying more on player initiative than a GM pushing a particular plotline.
Also due to the absense of a surface to roll dice and the large number of people involved in many decisions tend to have only a token rule set (usually derived by the GMs) and a simplistic resolution mechanic. Because of this, Freeforms are alo often systemless.
